College & Career Counseling

The College and Career Counseling Office provides students with personalized guidance as they prepare for life after high school. Students are encouraged to meet with their counselor to explore postsecondary options, research colleges and universities, learn about scholarships and financial aid opportunities, meet with college admissions representatives, and navigate the college application process.

Students can also receive assistance exploring career pathways, identifying internship, co-op, job shadowing, and apprenticeship opportunities, and developing plans aligned with their interests and goals. Those interested in military service can meet with military recruiters and learn about ROTC, NROTC, and other military scholarship opportunities.

Students are encouraged to begin building their high school résumé during their freshman year. Throughout high school, they will use school-supported platforms to document extracurricular involvement, service hours, leadership experiences, honors, awards, employment, and other accomplishments. Maintaining an up-to-date résumé will assist students with college applications, scholarship opportunities, and future career planning.

Students and parents are encouraged to schedule a meeting with the College and Career Counselor at any time to discuss academic planning, college admissions, career exploration, scholarships, financial aid, or postsecondary goals.
