On Thursday, March 25 the Bishop Brossart Girls held their first ever home track meet! The girls had some impressive performances in their win over Villa.
In the very first race ever run on the track, the 800 meter, our runners took the first 3 spots. Lia Callahan was the winner with a quick early season time. Grace Shroeder finished 2nd and Cate Reis had a big finish as she passed a runner near the end of the race to claim 3rd place.
All three of our relay teams won their races. Key runners in these relays were Lauren Gooderson, Miranda Csordas, Lydia Haubner, Sophie Neufelder, and Sarah Smith.
Amy Klocke has a good time in the mile and all of our jumpers performed well. For many of the girls this was the first track meet that had ever been in. Great job Lady Stangs!
