The Academic Team hosted rival and perennial power Campbell County on Tuesday, December 14 for a pair of matches. The Varsity squad came out swinging and kept it close, trailing 18-11 at intermission. They kept pace in the second half but ended up falling 36-26. Despite the loss, it was one of our best matches played in a long time. Michael Tomes posted 12 points and Jacob Crowley played outstanding, putting up 5 points in the match.
In JV action, our squad kept it close but eventually fell 22-13. Evan Herget led us with 4 points and Evan Callahan chimed in with 3 points
