Boys Cross Country Team Finishes in 3rd Place

A major congratulations goes out to the Boys Cross Country team for their terrific 3rd place performance at the State meet on Saturday, October 30. It was a long journey and the team saved their best for last.

Senior Ryan Branch led the way again for the squad as he earned All-State honors for his 3rd straight season with a 9th place finish, the best of his career. Sophomore Nate Ruth ran a spectacular race also earning all-state honors with his 11th pace finish. And the trio that led the team all year was capped off by Senior Parker Losure’s gritty and impressive 17th place performance.

The great performances kept kept coming as Freshman Griffin Hill and Senior Owen Davis finished within 1 second of each other for a great 4-5 finish for the team. For added measure, Sophomore Nick Heck and Junior Robby Beckerich ran the best race of their careers.
Senior Andrew Schwartz and Freshmen Ethan Haubner and Alex Grosser were also honored on the day by the KHSAA for being on the top 10 roster.

Coach Davis thanks his guys for sticking with such a hard sport and getting better and better every year. He and the rest of the Mustang community could not be more proud!

Go Mustangs!
