On Thursday, October 7 the 14th Annual Hits for Chicks game took place between the Bishop Brossart Lady Stangs and the Newport Central Catholic Lady Thoroughbreds. It was a great night of competition and generosity. All funds raised this evening were donated to Chicks & Chucks, a local nonprofit.
The varsity match up required all 5 games to determine a winner. The Lady Stangs were able to come out on top due to some fantastic team play. Corrine Blackburn had 11 kills, Savannah Seiter provided 29 assists, Kate Neltner added 27 assists and 5 aces, and Kylie Sansom 4 aces.
