Open House and Shadow Info

Visit BBHS

The best way to find out what Bishop Brossart is really about is to visit our campus and experience the school spirit first hand. The Development Office offers several unique and exciting programs for prospective students to experience BBHS in an upclose and personal way.

Open House

Families will receive a personal tour of the school building with a current Bishop Brossart student and have the opportunity to ask all those questions you want to find out from the students. Our faculty is available to review curriculum and expectations of their classroom. The extracurricular programs of clubs, intramural and sports teams are also present to share information about their offerings.

Grade School Visits, TBD

The 8th grade students that attend one of the District Grade Schools, have the opportunity to spend the day with their classmates while they sit in on BBHS classes, have lunch on us, and tour the campus. All of these group visit dates will occur in October, however you may still schedule an individual shadow day.

Shadow Program

The Shadow Program gives current 8th graders a chance to spend a typical day on campus and attend classes with BBHS students on an individual basis. Shadow days are scheduled Monday through Friday. The day goes as follows:

  • Times: drop off at 7:15 a.m. and pick up at 2:00 p.m. (time frame is flexible)
  • Location: Meet at the front office
  • Dress Code: Collared shirt, tucked in; khakis or dark pants; dress or gym shoes
  • Lunch: Free, it’s on us!
  • Parents: You are welcome to meet with the guidance counselor to get answers to any questions you have before you leave your child for the day.

If you would like to schedule a day this fall, please contact the school office at 859-635-2108. You may also schedule this visit to coincide with other classmates or friends from your current school. If you already know a current student you would like to shadow, let us know and we will try to arrange it for you.

Personal Tours and Meetings

If you are not able to attend any of our scheduled prospective student events, we are happy to meet with you individually and we are always available for you to explore our school community.

Future Mustangs

Interested 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from non-feeder schools that would like to receive admission information should have their parent complete the online Future Mustang Inquiry Form or call the school to receive your special mailings. Please note, if you filled out this form last year or have contacted BBHS by phone or visit, you will automatically receive future mailings through the end of your 8th grade year.
